Why have just “Something Blue” on your wedding day when you can have everything Blue? There’s a tendancy to think of Blue as a masculine colour so a lot of brides keep to the more feminine Pinks or Purples, but actually Dusky Blue is a really stunning colour to choose for your wedding day. Not only does it look amazing with foliage and greenary but it also works beautifully with metallic colours like Gold and Bronze.
For spring or summer weddings you can bring through some warmth to your colour scheme with luxurious Gold details or even add in touches of Baby Pink or Rose. For autumn and winter weddings go bold with Copper, Burgundy and even Navy. Deep Greens and Sage create a timeless palette that will never go out of style.
There are some really stunning chair sashes around and I’m a huge fan of the chiffon vertical drops if you already have chairs that look good but you want to add some drama to your reception room. You can also see how great this looks in yesterdays real wedding where Holly and Dean used chiffon drops and foliage to create the most stunning room for their wedding breakfast.
